IUSOM Campuses also conduct Human Genetics Engineering targeting Human Gene Sequencing focusing COVID-19 & other Disease Cells as well as Molecular Cell Biology Laboratory research focusing Proteomics and Genomics field. Masters in Clinical Cardiology (MCC) Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology (PGDCC) Programs are also being offered by a Branch Campus of IUSOM, namely, International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) - Michigan Clinical Campus (in Dearborn, Michigan, USA) at Ark Medical Center (AMC) and at AMC-Affiliated Hospitals located in Michigan USA. US Federation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) and World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) merged on April 4, 2014 their International Medical Education Directory (IMED) and AVICENNA World Directory for Medicine, launching the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) which is available at http://www.wdoms.org/ and AVICENNA Directory was discontinued in 2015 whereas IMED Directory & its Services were discontinued in June 2016. This new WDOMS was developed in collaboration with W.H.O. IUSOM (with FAIMER School ID: F0002436) is listed at WDOMS sponsored by WFME and FAIMER. Since June 2016 (when FAIMER discontiued its IMED), the US Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)uses WDOMS in determining the eligibility of its applicants for the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and for ECFMG Certification. International University School of Medicine (IUSOM) is constitutionally certified and recognized under the Dutch Law by the Government of The Netherlands. Primary Medical Qualifications (PMQs) awarded by IUSOM are also acceptable at General Medical Council of United Kingdom (GMC-UK), at Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ), and at Singapore Medical Council (SMC) as well at similar medical councils in other countries. The IUSOM Graduates (who are nationals of United Kingdom (UK) as well who are nationals of European Economic Area (EEA) countries or Switzerland having Enforceable Comminity right (EC right)) are eligible to apply for registration with a license at GMC-UK to practice medicine in UK without passing the PLAB (Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board) test.
